Family Fun "Badge in a Bag"
Your girls will learn about themselves and each other while learning about their families.

This is a great kit for any group. Not just for Brownies Available with a "Bag of Extras" for leaders who like to make samples, have extra supplies on hand or to stretch your kit for four additional girls.

If you are a Brownie leader and would like to use this kit to complete your All in the Family Try-It, here is our suggestion for fulfilling the requirements. Of course, it is not meant to infringe upon your own interpretation of the badge or the requirements printed in the Try-It book.

Requirement 1 - Where are you from?
Make a family crest using our pre-printed blank. Glue a photo into the middle. Cut out four pictures in old magazines that represent your family's background and/or interests. Glue them into the spaces on the crest. Add a foamie heart with your name on it.  Project will take about 25 minutes to complete. You'll need your own glue, scissors, old magazines and markers.

Requirement 2 - Say Cheese
Take a photo of your family and glue it to the included box. Decorate with foamie heart stickers. Use the box to store family keepsakes or make it into a time capsule (see requirement 6 in your try-it book). Project will take about 10 minutes to complete. You'll need your own photo.

Requirement 3 - Coupon Collection
Decide four ways you can be a help your family. Fill out the included coupons. Bring them home and use the hand magnet to put them on your refrigerator. Your parents can ask you redeem one of the coupons or, even better, you can help without being asked. Kit includes circles in four coupons per girl and one magnet. You'll need your own markers. Project will take about 10 minutes of troop time.

Requirement 5 - Family Fitness
Plan a family game night with your family. The girls can plan their own game nights our the troop can sponsor one for everyone. It could be family Olympics or other activities to promote health and fitness as well as team work. Fill out the included invitation.  You'll need your own pen or pencil. Allow about about 30 minutes for this activity included the planning time.
