Here's the perfect "bag" for new girls scouts or for troops looking to revisit scouting basics.

Easy projects to make scouting fun while learning about the basics of the program.

Available with a "Bag of Extras" for leaders who like to make samples, have extra supplies on hand or to stretch your kit for four additional girls.

If you are a Brownie leader and would like to use this kit to complete your Girl Scout Ways Try-It here is our suggestion for fulfilling the requirements. Of course, it is not meant to infringe upon your own interpretation of the badge or the requirements printed in the Try-It book.

Requirement 1 - The Girl Scout Law
Each girl can make a wooden puppet then work in pairs to create a puppet show. You'll also need paint or markers. Project will take about 10 minutes to complete not including the time spent developing and performing a show.

Requirement 2 - Special Girl Scout Ways
Make a Brownie Bear SWAP to exchange with another troop and learn about Girl Scout SWAPping. Kit includes foamie pieces and pin. You'll need your own glue and make your tags. Project will take about 10 minutes to complete not including the spent SWAPping.

Requirement 4 - Make a Sit-Upon
Make carry-along sit-upons! We provide a large tote with handles. You need garbage bags, newspaper and paint to decorate. Project will take about 30 minutes to complete.

Requirement 5 - Be Prepared
Mini 3" address book is just right for recording emergency phone numbers. You'll need a pen or pencil. Allow 15 minutes for this activity depending upon the writing abilities of your group.
