Your group can learn all about the flag and patriotism.

Included in this kit is a quality 5' fabric flag for your troop and projects to earn the "United We Stand" Junior Badge. A "Bag of Extras" is available for troops with up to 16 girls. If you are doing the Junior Badge here is our recommendations for fulfilling the requirements. Of course, it is not meant to infringe upon your own interpretation of the badge or the requirements printed in the badge book.

Requirements 1 - Show the Colors
Kit includes a quality 5' polyester flag for your troop. You'll need your own dowel or stick if you plan on carrying it in a parade. Learn how to fold and properly care for a flag.  Allow 20 minutes to complete. 

Requirement 2 - Write On!
Kit includes card, envelope and stickers. Use your own markers to make a card for a veteran or wounded soldier.  Allow 20 minutes to complete. 

Requirement 3 - Express Yourself
Make a mobile to show your pride in the USA. Foamie, mobile, yarn and stickers included. You'll need your own scissors and hole punch. Allow 30 minutes to complete. 

Requirement 6 - Sing Out!
Song sheet includes the words to six patriotic songs. You'll know the tunes! Allow 15 minutes to complete. 

Requirement 7 - For Which it Stands.
Make Patriotic SWAPs. Coins have symbols such as Uncle Sam, Statue of Liberty, Eagles and more. Combine them with confetti in the included mini bags and add a pin. You just need to make your own SWAP tags. Allow 20 minutes to complete. Kit includes 36 swaps total to share among your girls. Bag of extras has no additional supplies for this requirement.

Requirement 9 - Days Gone By
Kit includes a wooden top just like kids used in days gone by. Paint it in a patriotic style using your own paints. Allow 20 minutes to complete.
